Satisfactory is a construction and automation game developed by Coffee Stain Studios. Players take on the role of an employee of the FICSIT corporation sent to an unknown planet to extract its natural resources and build a massive automated factory.

The gameplay revolves around collecting materials, building machines, and optimizing increasingly complex production lines. As the player progresses, they unlock new technologies that allow them to produce advanced resources, upgrade their infrastructure, and fully automate their industry.

The first-person open-world view also encourages exploration. The planet is teeming with diverse biomes, alien creatures, and rare resources needed to develop the factory. Players must manage energy, material transport, and the layout of their facilities to ensure efficient production.

With its blend of management, engineering, and exploration, Satisfactory offers an immersive and creative experience that can be played both solo and in multiplayer co-op mode.

On the server side, single-core CPU performance matters more than the number of cores — a fast CPU with few cores will be more efficient than a CPU with many cores but slower.

Deploying a server

Prerequisites : Having a hosting on which the Drooft Game Hosting service is installed.
If you haven't already, please follow the installation guide for the Drooft Game Hosting service.

Installing a Satisfactory game server takes between 5 and 10 minutes, mainly due to the game server download time!

Steps:

1 Go to the page adding game server and fill in: host, game (Satisfactory), server name, game port, game port 2 and access type (password, friends, public).
2 Wait a few minutes for the server to switch to the "Game server turned off" , then choose the players' spawn location — this choice is only possible before the very first launch, and is therefore final.
3 Start your server (button "to start up") — on Windows, if a prompt asks you to install a dependency, accept it. All that's left is to play and invite your friends !

Tips:

Check that the server port is open on the internet (UDP and TCP). You can test whether your ports are open directly from your game server's page, using the icon .

Customizing Server Settings

A number of game server settings can be changed directly from the site:

Password Allows you to join the game (single player)
Admin password Allows you to join the game server in administrator mode (access to options)
Choice of spawn Allows you to choose the spawn location from the list of choices offered
Auto pause Allows the game server to pause when no players are connected

Other options may be added in the future, depending on needs.
