Eco Global Survival is a survival and simulation game developed by Strange Loop Games. A meteor will strike the planet after a fixed number of in-game days: players must work together to build, within that time limit, a civilization technologically advanced enough to destroy it.
Unlike most survival games, Eco Global Survival simulates a genuine ecosystem: every tree cut down, every mine dug and every factory built has a real impact on the environment, potentially leading to species extinction or lasting pollution of land and water if the civilization doesn't organize itself.
The game relies on deep specialization: no single player can learn everything, which pushes the community toward trade and economy. A fully player-run currency and government system (laws, taxes, votes) lets the community regulate production and protect the environment collectively.
Eco Global Survival is designed first and foremost for community servers: cooperation, negotiation and collective organization are at the heart of the experience, far more than combat.

Deploying a server
If you haven't already, please follow the installation guide for the Drooft Game Hosting service.
L'installation d'un serveur de jeu Eco Global Survival prend entre 5 et 15 minutes, principalement lié au temps de téléchargement du serveur de jeu !
Step 1:
Go to the page adding game server and provide the following information:
- Choice of host : Choose which hosting the game server will be deployed on
- Game : Choisissez le jeu à déployer (donc Eco Global Survival)
- Game server name : Name your game server so that it is easily identifiable to you
- Game port : Renseignez le port du serveur (vérifiez bien que le port est ouvert en UDP/TCP sur internet). Le port du serveur web d'administration d'Eco Global Survival est ouvert automatiquement au port de jeu + 1 (visible dans les détails du serveur une fois celui-ci créé).
- Access type : Choisissez le mode d'accès à votre serveur (password, amis, public)
Once the above information has been entered, you will be redirected to your server's administration page.
Step 2:
Wait a few minutes for the server to go into the state "Game server turned off" (depending on the speed of your internet connection).
Now that the server is initialized, you can configure a number of server options at the bottom of the page (eg: Maximum number of players).
Start your server (button "to start up").
The game server is ready, all you have to do is play and invite your friends !
