Don't Starve Together See on Steam

Don't Starve Together is a cooperative survival game developed by Klei Entertainment. It immerses players in a dark and strange world inspired by Gothic tales and Tim Burton's artistic style.

The main goal is to survive as long as possible in a hostile world filled with mysterious creatures, natural hazards, and supernatural phenomena. Players must gather resources, craft tools, cook, build a camp, and manage their hunger, health, and mental health.

Each character has unique abilities that influence gameplay and encourage cooperation among players. The world changes with the seasons, bringing new challenges such as the cold of winter, the heat of summer, or monster attacks.

The multiplayer aspect of Don't Starve Together allows players to team up to explore, fight, and survive together in this unpredictable world. Thanks to its distinctive atmosphere, challenging difficulty, and unique art style, the game has become a benchmark in the cooperative survival genre.

Install

Deploying a server

Prerequisites : Having a hosting on which the Drooft Game Hosting service is installed.
If you haven't already, please follow the installation guide for the Drooft Game Hosting service.

Installing a Don't Starve Together game server takes between 5 and 10 minutes, mainly due to the game server download time!

Steps:

1 Go to the page adding game server and fill in: host, game (Don't Starve Together), server name, game port, Steam master server port, Steam authentication port and access type (password, friends, public).
2 Wait a few minutes for the server to switch to the "Game server turned off" , then enter your cluster token at the bottom of the page.
Important : Don't Starve Together requires a "Cluster token" (a free token tied to your Klei account) to start. Enter it in the "Cluster token" field at the bottom of the page — the "start" button stays locked until it is filled in. How do I get a cluster token?
3 Start your server (button "to start up") — on Windows, if a prompt asks you to install a dependency, accept it. All that's left is to play and invite your friends !

Tips:

Make sure the server's three ports are open to the internet (UDP and TCP). You can test whether your ports are open directly from your game server's page, using the icon .

Caves : The underground world (ruins, Toadstool, Ancient Guardian...) is enabled from the "Caves" card on your server's page. It runs in a second server, started and stopped automatically with the first one, which needs its own three ports, also to be opened to the internet, and 2 to 3 GB of extra RAM.
